New International Food Safety Network Infosheet -- Foodborne illnesses prompt fine at golf course in Western New York

It may not surprise regular readers of barfblog that we selected an outbreak linked to a golf course for this week's iFSN infosheet; we've chronicled food safety at a golf course in the past. During the past week there have been reports of two outbreaks traced to golf courses, one in Wheaton, IL and, the inspiration for the infosheet, in Niagara Falls, NY.Click here to download the infosheet.
About the Author
Dr. Ben Chapman is an assistant professor and food safety extension specialist at North Carolina State University. He's interested in learning from and sharing stories from outbreaks. Through using new methods and messages, Ben hopes to compel folks from farm-to-fork to change food safety behavior and create a culture of food safety.
